Welcome to ICAASE’16

icaase_headerThe 2nd Edition of the International Conference on Advanced Aspects of Software Engineering (ICAASE’16) will be held at Constantine 2 University, in October 29 – 30, 2016. The conference will include three tracks on specific advanced aspects of the theory, design, applications and tools related to software engineering. ICAASE provides a forum for academic researches and practitioners to discuss recent progress in the area of Advanced Aspects of Software Engineering. Beyond its technical and scientific goals, another main purpose of ICAASE’16 is to promote collaboration between participants in research and education in the area of computer science and engineering.Submissions include, but are not limited to the following topics through three specific tracks:

1. Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence

  • Agent-Based Software Engineering
  • Aspect-Oriented Software Technology
  • Software Engineering with Computational Intelligence
  • Ambient Intelligence

2. Software Engineering and Formal Methods

  • Patterns, frameworks, and product lines
  • Software Architecture
  • Model-based Software Engineering
  • Service-Oriented Computing

3. Software Engineering in Practice

  • Web Software engineering
  • Networking and Distributed, Mobile software
  • Cloud and Distributed Computing

Accepted and presented papers will be published in the ICAASE'16 Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Digital Xplore


The authors of the distinguished papers from ICAASE'16 will be invited to submit a revised and extended version of their paper to a special issue of:
